Arnoud Balhuizen - Advisor & Investor

Arnoud is a commercial mining and resources business leader with deep global cross-commodity experience. He has been with BHP for over twenty years in various key commercial roles based out of The Hague, Houston and Singapore. In his last role as Chief Commercial Officer he oversaw the company’s procurement, logistics, supply-chain, sales, marketing, trading and economic & commodity analysis activities. He was also a member of BHP’s Investment Committee and its Science and Innovation Board.

After spending 15 years working overseas, Arnoud and his family returned to the Netherlands in 2019, when he joined BCG as a senior advisor to the Industrial Good’s practice.

Being a successful and innovative business leader, he is able to work across the value chain, investing in and providing support to new businesses and their founders like he does for EARTH AI.
